The Unheard operates as a physical manifestation of a collective existential nightmare and the profound trauma of systemic abandonment. Created in 2025 under the compounding weight of a severe national rift, the installation directly responds to the mass protests against governmental indifference toward those left behind. The work archives a raw, desperate verticality—a frantic stretching of arms that channels both the suffocating captivity of hostages bound in dark underground tunnels and the defiant, agonizing roar of citizens demanding their return. the sculpture transforms the volatile, ash-toned ceramic medium into a proxy for human tissue, Each limb carries a distinct scar, representing a unique, individual architecture of pain, yet they are structurally bound by the same unyielding rust and iron. Rising together in a collective, unanswered plea toward a silent sky, these hands capture the precise threshold of absolute helplessness and a desperate, frozen scream for humanism in a world that has turned profoundly deaf.
